Prusa XL Five-Head

Image of

The Prusa XL features a build volume of 360 x 360 x 360 mm, a rigid CoreXY aluminum frame for stability, and up to five independent toolheads, enabling multi-material and multi-color printing without manual filament swaps. When fitted with the official enclosure, the chamber traps heat from the heatbed to maintain a stable, warm environment suited to materials prone to warping, such as ASA, Nylon, and PC blends. The printer is fully enclosed and equipped with an active HEPA filter (99.9% efficiency), thus it can be used for printing with advanced materials mentioned above. Printer is available for independent use for Aalto University students and staff after Aalto Fablab FFF 3D printing session.
