This recording room is a variable acoustic room intended as project space for audio recording from the other audio studios or from within bringing an external computer. Counts with an speaker layout of 12.2.4 Genelec 8330p, intented for immersive audio installations and research projects. Equipment available: Ferrofish Analog to Digital Converter with 16x analog inputs and outputs 8x channel microphone pre amplifier RME Dante Digiface computer audio interface Intercom to being able to communicate with the studios (2501 and 2407) HDMI extender to share images from 2407 to the respective recording room Please note that this room doesn't count with any digital audio workstation or software, you must bring your own computer and free to use the software of your preference for your projects. For the microphones needed for your recordings, please reserve them in advance from Aalto Takeout. Will be used for teaching and research mainly by the department of Art & Media. Connected to Aalto Studios post-production network and servers, and can access all other post-production units on campus.
