Sennheiser ME 80 + K3-U
An old short shotgun microphone designed for reporting and film production. The K3-U body has and optional battery slot, but the original 5.6V PX 23 mercury batteries are no longer manufactured. It is however possible to use four 1.5V LR44 batteries instead if needed. The body accepts 12-48V Phantom Power via XLR. Pick-up pattern: super-cardioid/club Frequency response: 50 - 15000 Hz HPF Switch: I = flat II = 7dB@50Hz III = 20dB@50Hz (approximately 6dB@150Hz) On/Off switch: Doubles as a battery check Sensitivity (1kHz): 5mV/Pa ±2.5 dB Voltage: 12V-48V Phantom Power/5.6V battery) Output impedance: 200Ω Minimum load impedance: 300Ω(HPF=I) Recommended load: >5kΩ(HPF=II & III) Signal to Noise ratio: 67dB (70dB mentioned in an old manual) Equivalent noise level: 24-27dB
